Stay at the Chambre aux Bois in Freux
Going back to basics and enjoying simple things.
This unusual accommodation is located on the first floor of a barn. After climbing a narrow turning stair, you enter a charming holiday cottage which is entirely furnished with old objects and recycled materials.
It's located in Freux, in the province of Luxembourg, close to Libramont and Saint-Hubert. The area is known for it's wonderfull walks in the forest.

Stay at the Bushbox in Brasschaat
Linda has been dreaming for awhile to stay a couple of days in a tiny house. Via the website www.nature.house, she discovered the Bush Box in Brasschaat near Antwerp. More info on www.bushbox.be
The Bush Box is very near to the Kalmthoutse heide where you have several MTB tracks in a nature park located on both sides of the border between Belgium and The Netherlands.
The bad part of this trip was that due to Corona, we were not allowed to cross the border in to The Netherlands, the good part is that we now have a good reason to go back.
Walk or cycle in the Hallerbos, Halle
The Hallerbos is just a few km's away from where we live and it's a joy to walk or ride your bicycle. It's most known for the blooming bluebells all over the forest, starting as from late March up to mid April. We've seen pictures of the forest all over the world.
Lunch at Super Natural, Antwerp
Super Natural is a small Japanese eatery. For us, they have the best and authentic Tempura rice bowls outside Japan. The Japanese chef is alone in the kitchen so make sure you have enough time. Best to come early or late.
